The ULTIMATE Scout training experience! Wood Badge is the advanced training course for Scout leaders. At Wood Badge you will learn the eleven leadership skills and the techniques of Scoutcraft. You will gain a deeper understanding of Scouting’s values and methods. You will experience the special fun and adventure of Scouting firsthand.

Wood Badge is considered by many as a "mountain top" experience in their Scouting careers. It has served as a source of training and inspiration to thousands. In return, "trained" Scout leaders have affected the lives of millions of America’s youth.

There are six different schedules for Wood Badge courses scheduled throughout the year. Get a brochure and application form at our Roundtable meetings or from the Scout office. More information on the Wood Badge courses is available at the monthly Palmyra District Roundtable meetings.
