Here are some ideas for fundraisers for your units:

Flags for Holidays - Many units put up American Flags on front lawns during holidays for the people in their own Wards. The usual annual price for families to participate is $25 - $35.00. The morning of, or the night before a holiday, the Scouting units will place a 3' X 5' American Flag somewhere on the front lawn of a participating household for Patriotic display for the Holiday, then the unit takes the flags down at the end of the day. This has been a very successful and on-going fundraiser. For information about obtaining the flags and poles contact Old Glory Flag Company(798-9555) in Spanish Fork on Main Street.

Holiday Wreaths & More... - This site can give you some ideas of some of the things that your group can sell to family members, friends, ward members, business associates, etc. There are more companies that have group sales of Christmas Wreaths. Check your 'Scouting' magazine for leaders.

Popcorn Sales

Our Utah National Parks Council is sponsoring the sale of Trail's End Popcorn. If you or your unit wants to become involved in this fun fundraising event contact our District Executive, Karen Frost, at the Council office at 437-6222. The Council office has a handout with all the information for this fundraiser. Kick-off for this Popcorn sale begins Sept 7th.
