lakesbook.jpg (521993 bytes)Lakes of the High Uintas - If you're interested in learning about fishing the lakes in the High Uinta mountain areas, then you'll want to purchase the set of ten small booklets from the Utah Division of Wildlife Resources located at 1115 North Main, Springville, UT 84663, 801-491-5678 next to the fish hatchery.  This is a must set for backpackers and campers going into the High Uintas.  Cost is $2 each for the new booklets, and $1 for the older booklets.  This set covers all the drainages of the High Uinta mountains.  Click the picture on the right for the Provo and Weber River booklet.

Tour permits

Need a tour permit form? Did you know you can fax your tour permit to the Scout office and they will fax you back the approved copy? Just be sure to attach a listing of all the Boy Scouts along with your completed Tour Permit and fax them to: (801) 437-6239. Give them the details of where to fax back your copy.

Guide to Safe Scouting 

This is a critical guide that is required to be in the possession of every tour leader when filing a tour permit for an activity. Each leader must sign the tour permit indicating that they have read the Guide to Safe Scouting and they have one in their possession.

Safe Swim Defense  or  Safety Afloat

Do you have aquatics activities planned? Be sure to get certified in Safe Swim Defense and Safety Afloat to ensure the safety of your aquatics activities.

Adventure Park

This camp is designed for the new eleven-year old Scout to help him earn his First Class Rank. Scouts will enjoy 2 days and one night of wilderness camping and be able to participate in activities that will help them to pass off requirements for Tenderfoot thru First Class Scout. Big Thunder Adventure Camp

Get a taste of the "new camper" experience by bringing your 11 year-old Scouts to Big Thunder Adventure Camp located at Camp Thunder Ridge up Parowan Canyon near Brian Head Ski Resort.
